This is particularly reflected by exciting designers such as Clarice Cliff, Susie Cooper and Charlotte Rhead with their bright demonstrative styles and geometric designs, symbolising the change and freedom in society following the restraints of the war time period, moving through to ceramics of the 1950s-1970s where styles changed dramatically after the war years from fresh pop-art patterns through to the studio wares of the 1970s. |
